This LAB, entitled Finding the Best Vacation Deal, is Part 1 of two in Planning a Vacation. This first part will take the learner through the steps of choosing a type of vacation, researching possibilities on the Internet, and consulting a travel agent.
Learners will learn some vocabulary related to vacations, how to locate and interpret travel information presented on the Internet, and how to interact orally with a travel agent. By the end of Part 1, they will be able to make an informed choice about their next vacation.
This LAB is intended for adult learners who already have some basic literacy and oral skills in English, but are not yet fully functional in the language.
