DESCRIPTION

An LS that involves learners in an interview with a centre director(principal) in order to inform the audience(teachers, students, staff, administration and the local community) about the roles and duties of a centre director while trying to cast light on the administration's decision to shut down the popular student run on line news channel.

INTENTION PÉDAGOGIQUE

To have learners formulate various interview questions using two documents as references and to involve learners in a role play situation where their interview abilities (communication skills) are further developed through guided and semi-guided activities incorporating feedback and peer review at various stages of the LS.

Utilisation

This LS is best used toward the end of the 25 hour course as it assumes the learner has already been involved in various interview techniques.
