DESCRIPTION

The students are ready for a big life commitment: a new pet! The students are provided with a paper or online quiz to determine their needs and desires. They will read, listen and take notes on their favorite pet's needs, but also on other people's experience. They will use this information and their own life experience to make a decision based on their needs, desires and capacity. At the end, they must convince the person they live with that this decision is a good idea.

INTENTION PÉDAGOGIQUE

The students will use the information, exercise critical judgment in sifting through some of the information, use creativity in their arguments, adopt effective work methods with note taking, use ICT (especially QR Codes) and communicate appropriately. This course is only 25 hours, this LS could be used at the end to determine how far the students are in their learning process.

Utilisation

Please read the Teacher's Guide first, a lot is explained and little tools are offered. It is possible to use this as a multi-level LS, please see the appendix in the Teacher's Guide: there is an additional task for students in ANG4101-2. QR Codes are wonderful- please try them yourselves. If I could do it, anyone can!
